French President Emmanuel Macron considers the long-stalled free trade agreement between the European Union and South America's Mercosur bloc to be "really bad" for all concerned, and proposes to rebuild it. "Let's finish with the Mercosur of 20 years ago", he said at an economic forum in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, "Let's build a new agreement that reflects our objectives and our reality".
