In north London a steady stream of vinyl record enthusiasts join a queue outside Flashback Records ahead of opening time. The establishment is one of more than 270 record stores in the UK taking part in Record Store Day, which sees special releases made available exclusively at independent record shops. "It's something that you can still feel, touch, see, and it's not something that you've got in your pocket in your phone," says one customer, Martin Wolyniec.
