Between concern and fatalism, students at a video game training school in Paris express their views on the boom in generative artificial intelligence, which is beginning to invade their industry and could well transform it in the years to come. "It will inevitably lead to job losses [...] but we mustn't devalue human work," says one of their supervisors, while another believes that it is now essential to know how to use this "super-powerful tool that is revolutionising all creative systems". At the famous French video game studio Ubisoft, they are experimenting with the new possibilities of these technologies and what they can offer in terms of new interactions between the player and the characters.
