Crowds of travelers stand in long lines at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport after a major IT outage which caused disruption to airlines, banks, TV channels and other businesses globally. The IT crash, one of the biggest in recent years, was apparently caused by an update to an antivirus program, with Microsoft saying in a technical post on its website that the problems affected users of its Azure cloud platform running the cybersecurity software CrowdStrike Falcon.
