Twelve-year-old Hong Kong fencing beginner Lloyd got a new role model over the weekend -- "Sword Queen" Vivian Kong Man-wai, who clawed back a 7-1 deficit in the women's epee final to win Olympic gold in Paris. The impact of Kong's win was immediate, said Lau Kwok-kin, a retired Olympian now teaching fencing, who works at the school where Lloyd trains in a class of about six youngsters with only one girl.
