Description
With their fingertips, Marina and Jose Pedro pore over a small-scale model of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia church in a unique exhibition which allows the blind to discover some of the world's best-known monuments. Set up in 1992, the Madrid Typhlological Museum -- from the Greek "tuphlos", meaning "blind" -- houses 37 reproductions of global monuments that are listed as world heritage sites. "Thanks to this museum, you can touch a little piece of many parts of the world and get an idea of how they are," says blind visitor Marina Rojas. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES
