Description
A house made largely with the use of environmentally friendly mycelium or fungus roots is being built in a Prague workshop. The new material, called myco-composite, may replace polystyrene in the building industry in the future. "Its hardness is excellent, even better than polystyrene, so we can use it for ceilings, floors as well as walls," says architect Katerina Sysova. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
