Description
In the evenings in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, friends meet to "throw eggs" -- a card game winning fans despite official warnings that it is an addictive waste of time and a drain on productivity.
"(We) just play in our spare time, so it will not cause us to lose our ambition and will to work. If throwing eggs is labelled as such, it's not fair to the game," says 60-year-old Tang Songyuan, the owner of a Guandan clubhouse in Hangzhou. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
