Ukrainian recruits are trained on Operation Interflex, a UK-led infantry training programme. The civilians becoming soldiers participate in tactical casualty care in combat at a training site in southwest England. Operation Interflex is supported by 12 international partners, who deploy soldiers to the UK to help train both voluntary and conscripted Ukrainians to go through a five week 'boot camp'.
