From guitars played by Prince, Eddie van Halen or Oasis's Noel Gallagher to an Abbey Road Studios piano, Marianne Faithfull's designer jackets and autographed Beatles promotional photographs, a collection of popular culture items are on show in London before going under the hammer in a Sootheby's auction. "Any kind of important music or film moment which we know has a following or we want to tell the story about, we've included in this auction," says Sotheby's Katherine Schofield.
