An Acapulco resident says her children became "hysterical" as Hurricane John approached the Mexican coastal resort city, bringing back painful memories of Hurricane Otis, a scale-topping Category 5 storm which left a trail of destruction and several dozen people dead. Marta Sotelo opted to take her children to a makeshift shelter at a fire station in Acapulco as the storm approached Acapulco.
