Paintings, photographs, furniture, toiletries, sex toys: from the bedroom to social networking sites, the Decorative Arts Museum in Paris invites visitors to delve into the world of intimacy until 30 March, exploring the places and times in which it unfolds. "The idea of this exhibition is to understand how things that seem obvious to us today about intimacy were not at all the same two centuries ago," explains Christine Macel, the exhibition's curator.
