Brazil's President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, names Brazilian diplomat Andre Correa do Lago President of the UN climate conference COP30 that will take place in Belem, Brazil, in november 2025.
Newly appointed COP30 President, Correa do Lago told reporters that there "is no doubt that [Trump's decision to pull out from the Paris climate agreement] will have a significant impact on the preparations for the COP."
