Description
Tens of thousands of demonstrators gather in central Berlin to protest against the German conservative CDU party's norm-busting overtures towards the far right. The crowds marched on the headquarters of the party, which last week sought the AfD's support for an anti-immigration bill, breaking a post-WW2 taboo against cooperating with the far right at the national level. Police say some 160,000 people attended the rally, organisers put the figure at 250,000. IMAGES
