The Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) is calling for "an immediate cessation of hostilities" between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where the east of the country is in the grip of a lightning offensive by the M23 armed group and Rwandan troops, which has caused "an alarming humanitarian situation" in the region, denounced Equato-Guinean President Teodoro Obiang at a summit in Malabo.
