Description
The Venezuelan court handling the case against human rights activist Rocio San Miguel, who has been imprisoned for a year on charges of "terrorism" and "treason," postponed the start of the trial to March 31, lawyer Juan Gonzalez Taguaruco says. "The first hearing did not take place because she was not transferred to the Palace of Justice... This time, we hope the transfer does happen," adds lawyer Theresly Malave.
The authorities link San Miguel to an alleged plan to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro, which her defense denies. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
