Police officers are stationed outside a bar in Grenoble where a grenade was thrown on Wednesday night, February 12, injuring about a dozen people, at least two of whom are in serious condition. The grenade exploded shortly after 8:00 pm (1900 GMT) at the bar in the Olympic Village neighbourhood, built when the picturesque city hosted the 1968 Winter Olympics.
