Ukrainian refugee children got a warm welcome at this school in Somma Vesuviana, Italy, on Monday (3/14). Local students waved Italian and Ukrainian flags, sang songs, and held up drawings to greet their new classmates. A teacher said the children were given goldfish to replace pets they left behind, calling it “a small gesture to make them feel at home.”
