Description
Police in Colorado are looking for three suspects who stole two Bulldog puppies from a pet shop over the weekend.
The men staged a fake seizure inside the Perfect Pets pet store in Centennial, Colo., some 15 miles south of Denver on Sunday as a way to distract shop employees.
Security footage provided by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office shows as one of the men collapses from the alleged seizure and as another then grabs the puppies from a locked pen; employees soon try to stop him.
Officials said a good Samaritan, who purchased a puppy from a man in north Denver for $1,500, recognized her pup after seeing the story on the news and immediately called the pet shop to return him. The shop plans to give her a reward for her good deed, police said.
The puppies are valued at $4,299 each, and no arrests have been made.
