Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz on Tuesday discussed reports about Republican presidential nominee and former president Donald Trump outlined in a new book by famed Watergate reporter Bob Woodward.
The book, titled "War", says Donald Trump has had as many as seven private phone calls with Vladimir Putin since leaving office and secretly sent the Russian president COVID-19 test machines during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I can guarantee you that Kamala Harris and I do not have dictators on speed dial," Walz said about the alleged phone calls during a rally in Reno, Nevada.
He said that the reports about the COVID tests sent to Putin "makes my blood boil."
Steven Cheung, Trump’s communications director, said none of the stories in Woodward’s books are true.
