Description
Good Wednesday! High pressure aloft will keep us sunny and dry today. Temps heat up to the middle 80s, however, dewpoints remain very low, which means it'll be a dry heat. Unlike last week, heat indices will stay rather low.
Thursday will follow in the footsteps of Wednesday.
Our attention quickly turns to an approaching cold front which slides through Friday evening/night. Right now, it appears rain amounts stay rather low between 0.10-0.25". This won't improve the drought but should help prevent it from getting worse.
Behind the front comes our coolest weather we've felt in a while, with daytime highs struggling to hit the low 70s! Dry and sunny weather will continue through next week.
