Description
Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton backed Kamala Harris' vision for America in a speech to delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Clinton also used her speech to refer to Donald Trump’s 34 felony convictions earlier this year, prompting the crowd to chant “lock him up” inside a packed auditorium.
The national convention will showcase the party's new presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her policy objectives, largely inherited from the administration of President Joe Biden, as the race for the White House nears the final stretch.
Democratic delegates will also vote on their party's finalized policy platform for the next four years, putting forward a vision in stark contrast to that of Trump, who is Biden's predecessor and the Republican nominee.
