Description
Today will be the last extremely hot day for a long time. Changes to the weather pattern will lead to cooler/less humid weather for the next several days.
There will be cloud cover out there this morning, but the clouds will decrease, and the sun will come out this afternoon.
Debby will give us a glancing blow to our east this evening, as she passes over the Appalachian Mountains. Most of the moisture stays east, but a stray shower or storm is possible.
Expect clouds Friday morning, followed by afternoon sunshine.
The weekend looks fantastic, with lots of sunshine, cooler temperatures, and less humidity through Saturday and Sunday.
Our next chance of rain won’t be until Tue/Wed of next week, but it’s only a 20% chance, and will do little to help with the drought.
