Description
Despite the calendar saying early June, it’ll feel more like late September/early October today. This is because a cold front came through yesterday, which has led to northerly winds.
There will be plenty of cloud cover today, but despite there being some clouds, rain is unlikely. In fact, most days this week will be dry.
The only day that has the possibility to shower will be Friday, but even that is a marginal risk at only 20% of the viewing area.
Our attention quickly turns to building high pressure towards the end of this upcoming weekend. It’s possible we could see our first heat wave of the summer. You need 3 straight days of 90 degree or warmer heat to have a heat wave, and that appears likely Sunday through at least Tuesday.
