Description
Tuesday will be the warmest day of the next week, with temps in the mid to upper 80s and the humidity climbing up as well.
Satellite and radar imagery show a disorganized line of showers and storms out near the Great Plains, and this is part of our next weather maker which will arrive tomorrow.
Expect showers and storms to arrive in the afternoon, bringing heavy rain and gusty winds. We are *not* expecting severe weather (i.e. large hail/tornadoes), however there may be some spotty ponding on roadways during heavy rainfall.
Behind the system, winds switch to the west, which will usher in cooler/less humid air by Thursday and Friday.
