Description
The Neighborhood Market Association announced they are offering $25,000 to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in a series of convenience store robberies.
The announcement comes just days after San Diego Police arrested three teens in connection to some of those cases.
SDPD said they made a traffic stop on December 15 in connection to an ongoing investigation and they arrested two 16-year-old males and a 14-year-old male. These suspects were arrested in connection to at least six cases in the City of San Diego. In total, San Diego Police say there have been 18 robberies county-wide during the month of December.
Police said that one of the suspects arrested was also wanted in connection to a series of delivery driver robberies, including one involving a Fed Ex driver in Chula Vista.
Officers said they recovered three firearms during the traffic stop, including an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle. Police said that at least one of the recovered firearms was a ghost gun.
All three suspects have been booked into Juvenile Hall and their identities are being withheld due to their ages.
