Description
Kids Care Finder, a one-stop-shop website for all child-related services, launches in San Diego County. The family resource website will help parents find anything for kids of all ages, in one place, from childcare (preschool, daycares, nannies, babysitters, etc.), extracurricular activities (ballet, soccer, gymnastics, swim, etc.), service providers (pediatricians, pediatric dentists, mental health providers, etc.) and so much more!
The first four categories – Preschools, Daycare Centers, In-Home Daycares, and Private Schools – have soft-launched this month, with the next round of categories adding in September. The San Diego-based company officially launches August 1 in San Diego County, with plans to roll out in other Southern California markets over the next several months.
“As we all know, finding childcare and other related activities can be exhausting, incredibly time consuming, and sometimes, even impossible,” explains Olivia Rutman, Founder and CEO. “Kids Care Finder is on a mission to help give parents back precious time to focus on what truly matters – your kids!”
Parents register for a free account – it takes less than a minute to sign up! The website will always be free for families to use to find and message providers. The website has a unique filtering system which allows parents to narrow down the results and only see providers that would work for their family’s unique needs – saving countless hours and phone calls. The site also allows parents to take actionable next steps with providers, such as adding your child to waitlists (and being able to see what number you are), applying online, or even enrolling electronically in just minutes!
In addition, Kids Care Finder is a great resource for providers too, as it’s an invaluable resource offloading several administrative tasks that (small) businesses must manage, giving them more visibility to families and less paperwork to manage.
Kids Care Finder will have 30-plus categories once they are fully rolled out, including areas like: Special Needs Programs, Birthday Parties, Music Teachers, Drivers, and more.
“If you’re a stay-at-home mom who’s looking for fun things to do with your littles, we will also have Mommy & Me and Toddler Fun Activities category,” adds Rutman. “We tried to think of every possible need to help save parents time.”
