Description
Scattered showers continue Tuesday following a weekend of heavy rain, wind, mountain snow, and flooding concerns across San Diego County. Mountain snow will continue above about 4,500 feet on Tuesday with several additional inches possible of accumulating snow before the end of the day.
Rain showers have mainly been contained to the foothills but were seen at times along the coast early Tuesday. Showers are expected to taper off beyond sunrise with a mostly dry Tuesday afternoon and evening.
While this upcoming Thursday shows a chance for lighter showers, expect a stretch of drier weather beyond Thursday with more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures.
