Description
Tuesday will be another hot day across San Diego County with highs between 5 and 15 degrees above normal. Instead of typical fall-like weather, we'll hang on to a summer-like trend through Wednesday.
Overnight into early Tuesday morning, low clouds were spotted around the coast in a patchy format, mainly between Del Mar and Bay Park area. By afternoon, expect plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs similar to Monday in the low 80s along the coast and low to mid 90s inland.
Heat related warnings and advisories remain through today.
A quick moving low will prevent this heat wave from being a long one. A dip in the jet stream and then return to a more zonal pattern will lead to a gradual cooling for the second half of the week causing the ridge to weaken.
