Twelve never before seen photos of Marilyn Monroe went on display in a downtown gallery in San Diego in 1991. Robert Slatzer, a writer and photographer took them on the set of Something’s Got To Give in 1962. He was a long-time friend of hers and claimed that they were married for a few days early in her career. He asked her not to pose for the photos and she said fine—just catch me as you can. The negatives were buried in a vault for years. Andrea Naversen reports.
