Description
After several dry days, our next big rain maker takes aim at central Ohio starting Sunday afternoon.
Here's what we know:
- Rain will be in the forecast from 2pm until midnight
- Heaviest from 5pm until 9pm
- Around a half to three quarters of an inch are expected
By Monday, our sky will once again become mostly sunny and temps will reach into the mid-50s, although some locations will stay in the low-50s. A bigger note will be just how windy things are expected to get. WSW winds on Monday will be sustained at 10-20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Tuesday will also be similar with temps in the low-50s and a partly cloudy sky, but the winds won't be nearly as strong. A couple of showers are possible late Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning, but the impacts will remain minimal. Once again highs will top out in the low-50s on Wednesday with a mix of clouds and sun.
Temperatures will rise some on Thursday with partly cloudy and mostly dry conditions expected. Friday will be in the low 60s with a few showers, with temperatures up near 70 by next Saturday, along with the possibility for some more showers and thunderstorms!
