Description
Good Monday morning!
It is much colder outside today, along with plenty of morning clouds! The sunshine will return by Monday afternoon.
Tuesday, the prevailing wind will shift back from the southwest, which will allow high temps to reach into the 60s once again under a mostly sunny sky. Wednesday will be even warmer, with highs pushing into the low-70s with just a few clouds.
Another strong cold front will approach late Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Ahead of the front showers and some thunderstorms will impact the lower Great Lakes and Ohio Valley late Wednesday and early Thursday. Then, light showers will continue into
Thursday afternoon with temps falling into the 40s. During Thursday a few wet snowflakes are possible on top of the rainfall, but no major winter weather impacts are expected.
Despite the cooldown, Thursday is the first day of spring, with the spring equinox arriving at 5:01 AM.
Friday our sky will clear, allowing afternoon temps to return to the 50s. Clouds will increase a bit on Saturday as another chance for showers moves in to start the weekend.
Have a great start to your week!
