A widely popular ice cream shop in Seattle is planning to open another location in the city. Salt and Straw filed plans Dec. 23 for a new location in the Queen Anne neighborhood, according to permit documents reviewed by KING 5. The location formerly was a Homegrown, which announced in mid-2024 that it planned to shutter the majority of its Seattle-area locations.
