The Bartell Drugs location in Seattle’s University Village is slated to close in January. A spokesperson for Rite Aid, the parent company for Bartell Drugs, confirmed the closure Monday. Spokesperson Alicja Wojczyk said the decision came as Rite Aid regularly assesses its retail footprint to ensure it’s operating efficiently.
