Sound transit is beefing up security after a person was injured in a stabbing early this morning at the Tukwila International Boulevard station – one stop north of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Trains were running as scheduled through the Tukwila light rail station Friday afternoon after an overnight stabbing sent one person to the hospital. “I mean it’s tragic, that’s very sad,” light rail rider LeAane Campbell said. According to Sound Transit, one person stabbed another after an altercation just after 1 a.m. Friday. Tukwila police responded, and one person was taken to the hospital – investigators have yet to say if anyone was taken into custody.
