Troy Taylor of North Bend was bracing for much worse than a busted-up bumper after the close call during his Wednesday morning commute. He says someone threw something heavy, like a rock, at his truck. "If I didn't brake it could have gone on to the hood or into my windshield,” said Taylor. "It was 4 o'clock this morning. I was heading in to work on I-90 heading westbound. I was taking the offramp to get onto I-5 heading south, and I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. This was on the side, ground level.
