Description
An 18-year-old man was charged Tuesday in connection to the death of a 17-year-old girl in Tacoma.
The suspect, Aiden Tyrrell, was arrested Tuesday when he turned himself in, according to police. He was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, drive-by shooting and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
Tyrrell appeared in court on March 27 and his bail is set at $3 million.
On Saturday, the 17-year-old girl was shot at South Ridgewood Avenue and South 15th Street on Saturday evening.
According to the Tacoma Police Department, Tyrrell and the girl were previously in a romantic relationship. Court documents allege they broke up but were still in contact at the time of the shooting.
