A woman was assaulted at gunpoint while walking her dog in Normandy Park on Monday evening. According to the Normandy Park Police Department, a 28-year-old woman was stopped near the intersection of SW 170th Street and 16th Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Police say she was forced into the suspect's car at gunpoint and driven a short distance away, where she was sexually assaulted and then released. The man, believed to be in his early to mid-30s and approximately 5.5 feet tall, was driving a blue or dark-colored sedan with silver or aluminum wheels.
