In a packed Tehran clinic, rhinoplasty surgeon Hamidreza Hosnani flips through his tightly booked agenda, preparing for more than a dozen operations — mostly on women hoping to fix what some call the "Persian nose." Hosnani says his patients have sought rhinoplasty as a way to align with demanding beauty ideals, elevate their social standing, and even enhance perceptions of success.
