Sweden's recycling centres are overflowing with discarded clothes after the introduction of an EU-wide ban on throwing away textiles this year, leaving municipalities overwhelmed and eager to see fast fashion giants take responsibility. "We throw away 90,000 tons in Sweden. It's almost 10 kilos per person that we throw away of textiles every year", explains Beatrice Rindevall, chairperson of the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC).
