French Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau attends the funeral ceremony in Lannemezan (Hautes-Pyrénées department, southwestern France) in tribute to Captain Olivier Mariande, a member of CRS 29 mountain rescue unit who died after a fatal fall during an operation to rescue a mountaineer. Retailleau posthumously awards the Légion d'honneur, the highest and most prestigious French national order of merit, to the rescuer.
