Winds will pick up later Monday, bringing a wind chill to the forecast, especially noticeable overnight with some feels-like temperatures in the teens.
Tuesday morning will feel like winter again with blustery winds and widespread frost and lows in the mid 20s as our sky clears.
A Freeze Warning will be in place from 1 a.m. through 11 a.m. Tuesday afternoon will be filled with sunshine, but thanks to the strong northern winds, highs will only get into the low 40s.
Wednesday morning will also be similar with low temperatures in the mid to upper 20s under a clear sky.
A Freeze Warning means that the temperature near the ground is expected to be at or below 32. A Freeze Warning is more impactful than a Frost Advisory because at 32 or lower, the plants essentially freeze, instead of just getting a light layer of frost on the outside.
