Some of these storms could produce heavy downpours, gusty winds and small hail, but are not expected to be severe.
The increased threat of strong storms just before midnight on Wednesday will continue overnight into Thursday, which is why we've issued 10TV Weather Impact Alert Days.
Biggest concerns will be for damaging winds and flooding, so have ways to get warnings to wake you up if you need to take action.
We could also see large hail (severe begins at 1" in diameter) and isolated tornadoes.
The 10 Weather Impact Alert will continue into Thursday when more severe storms could be possible, along with the chance for some localized flooding.
With the heavy rain that much of the area received Sunday and the additional rain Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we'll be monitoring the potential flooding through the end of the week and through the weekend, with more rain on the way.
Showers will generally taper off as the weekend ends, with a shot of colder air moving in to start next week.
Make sure to stay connected to the 10TV Weather Impact team as we keep you up-to-date on any changes and important details on the upcoming busy forecast.
