Description
The FBI has released footage of a man suspected of damaging a Tesla supercharger station in Lacey, Washington, and needs the public's help identifying him.
A fire was started at the station located at 665 Sleater Kinney Road SE on April 8 at 1:30 a.m., police officials said, adding that multiple 911 callers reported a loud noise shortly after. The result was "substantial damage" to the station and the area, according to the FBI.
The man suspected in the incident is white, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2. He has what the FBI called a "unique gait" that includes a slight limp, his right leg kicking out, and at times his right hand behind his back.
The night of the incident he was wearing a dark jacket with a hood, gray pants and a face covering, as well as carrying a white bag. The FBI said he likely suffered injuries consistent with being in close proximity to an explosion or intense heat, such as a concussion, burns or shrapnel injuries.
