A 64-year-old woman is recovering after spending two days lost in an Oregon state park.
The coast guard rescued the hiker on Dec. 8, 2024. Officials say on Dec. 6, 2024, she got separated from the group she was forging with.
Rescue teams on Dec. 6 and 7, 2024, searched for her using multiple resources, including aerial surveillance, ground crews and thermal imaging.
Her discovery on Dec. 8, 2024, came after ground searchers heard shouting from a remote part of the park. Officials say was suffering from signs of hypothermia and dehydration.
