A California Highway Patrol pursuit through downtown Los Angeles ended with a million dollar drug bust on June 17, 2024. California Highway Patrol reportedly attempted to stop a pickup truck for tinted windows. The driver didn't stop and led officers on a 10-minute pursuit that ended near a freeway.
Once the driver was arrested, officers found plastic bins filled with 190 pounds of meth inside the truck. The drugs were street valued at $3.4 million, and a large amount of cash was also found.
The 47-year-old male driver is facing drug trafficking charges, officials say.
