April 8 on The Story: Last month, The Oregonian broke a story about how executives at Clean Water Services, Washington County's wastewater agency, ran up a tab amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars over five years by eating out at local restaurants and taking trips to Hawaii — all on the ratepayers' dime. This morning, Washington County commissioners, who themselves sit on the Clean Water Services board, tried to address the loss of public trust by laying out what they'll do to address the agency's spending. We were there, and we'll take you through where they landed.
