Massive fires in the Los Angeles area have burned more than 10,000 homes and other structures. The Eaton Fire alone, near Pasadena, has burned more than 5,000 structures, including homes and businesses. Red Cross volunteers from Oregon and southwest Washington departed the Portland International Airport on Thursday to help wildfire victims.
