Description
Nov. 18 on The Story: In 1989, Effie Entezari was gunned down while leaving her Vancouver apartment. Investigators and prosecutors focused on her estranged husband, Mike Entezari, winning a conviction and sending him to prison on a 25-year sentence. But the case never added up for their daughter, Pooneh Gray, who worked for decades to clear her father's name. Her story, and the evidence she said pointed to the real killer, became the subject of KGW's podcast "The Yellow Car." Now, Gray is celebrating a victory at long last, after a jury found a man named Viktor Pell responsible for Effie Entezari's death in a civil case that wrapped up this month.
