Oct. 25 on The Story: The clock is ticking down to Election Day, with election security and integrity at top of mind for many voters. Enter the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, or CISA. It's the new kid on the block in terms of federal agencies, having been formed in 2018. But its primary job is to look for both online and physical threats to most integral elements in the United States, elections chief among them. Those threats, they admit, are both very real and come from both foreign and domestic sources. Nevertheless, they claim that U.S. election infrastructure has never been more secure. Here's why they feel so confident.
